Hi all

i'm rosie and am getting married on 28th aug this year in scotland

i can't wait - its mostly all organised - got a heather theme (obviously being time of year and location

) caterers organised, band organised, dress is at fitters, celebrant has first draft of vows etc... umm... so that's about it i think!

i'm just needing a bit more inspiration for a few little things so thought i'd join here :-)

i'm getting married here;~

v chilled out affair - ceremony on grass outside the castle - choosing our own vows etc etc - hog roast - then evening ceilidh - kids party food for late night snack

- theme is heather and rustic (we're country bumpkins) so purple, wood (wooden pot with live heather as center peices) and white....

me - floaty grecian style dress - i'm a bit of a tom boy so it'll be a shock for anyone to see me in a dress let alone all made up lol! (i don't own makup... yet!)no veil or tiara - but plan to have hair like blake lively when she did the grecian look....just have to choose hair accessories now...... (any thoughts greatly appriciated

but will do a thread anyway in the right section fot that

)

veune is very relaxed and almost shabby chic if that makes sense?! where ceremony is has gorgeous views over the tay - fingers crossed for no rain! :shock:

but it will be in marquee if not so not too worried

i've put a link to my dress and hair style under hair section :wink:

needing a bit of thoughts on hair accessories if poss

near dunkeld

out in the sticks - its a stunning area

we looked at murthly castle.... but was WAY over our budget lol!!! and they were a bit

when we told them it was non-religious ceremony..... :shock:
